Pupils’ behaviour in lessons, in assembly, around the school and in the playground is good. The school’s highly civilised, calm atmosphere promotes pupils’ positive behaviour towards adults and their peers.
Here at Mill Rythe we welcome all parents and community members as part of our Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). We have a range of events throughout the year, with all funds raised supporting our school. This year, we have been able to provide the school with 8 interactive ‘Learnpads’ to develop the ICT resources the children have access to. We have a strong partnership with the staff at Mill Rythe Infants and hold regular meetings to schedule events and welcome new members of our community.
Over the school year, we host several events for parents and children, including the school fete, bake sales and Christmas fair. Recently, our school fete raised a huge £1830.70! We welcome anyone to our meetings – keep an eye on the school newsletter and our website for dates. If you have any queries, please use the contact form on our website.
Mrs Ford, Mrs Thewlis and Mrs Clarke are all going to abseil down the Spinnaker tower to raise money for the school! Stay tuned for more information…
